On Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2:00 (ET) The TASA Group, in conjunction with Shawn Huston, Marc Portner and Michael Hayes presented a free, one-hour, interactive webinar presentation of Information Governance in a Big Data World. 

This presentation discussed the pitfalls of ignoring a proactive data management strategy.  Mr. Huston and associates offered the importance of having a data management strategy in place and areas that need to be covered within the strategy.  We also discussed Mobile and Cloud Concerns, use of personal devices, as well as data assessment during litigation and investigation.

The presenters also included discussion of Cross Border Information Governance, the things to be aware of when approaching data policies across borders and included case law examples.
