Understanding, Avoiding & Defending Accessibility Lawsuits

On March 13, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. (EST), The TASA Group, in conjunction with attorney Richard Hunt presented a free, one-hour webinar presentation, Understanding, Avoiding & Defending Accessibility Lawsuits.  
 
This webinar covered issues surrounding accessibility liability and accessibility litigation focusing on ADA and FHA requirements.  Mr. Hunt also discussed some of the trends that we are now seeing in this type of litigation.
 

About the Presenter

For 33 years, Richard Hunt has tried jury and non-jury cases in Texas. Through his work with ADA and FHA defense matters, he consulted with an impressive variety of clients, including developers, retailers, shopping centers, banks, and other enterprises through these litigation means.  Mr. Hunt is an experienced guest speaker, as well as a frequent webinar presenter on ADA and FHA lawsuits. 
 
Mr. Hunt not only focuses on ADA and FHA lawsuits, but he also represents client disputes that encompass the complete range of business- related litigation.  He has worked with state and federal securities law, common law fraud, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act in state, as well as federal court. He has also brought these matters before the AAA and FINRA. 
 
Mr. Hunt has worked with the prosecution and defense of claims for trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, copyright violations, breach of oil and gas contracts, real estate acquisitions, and brokerage disputes. He has represented both employees and employers with concern to non-competition agreement disputes, discrimination, as well as theft of trade secrets. 
 
In 2004, Mr. Hunt was named one of the Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters.  He was also AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
