Dr. Hassell discussed the science and technology that is used in computer forensics investigation, as well as how information is gathered and discovered. The presentation also covered what steps need to be taken when starting a computer forensics investigation.

Johnette Hassell has more than 45 years of experience in the computer and software industries, and holds a doctorate in mathematics from Tulane University. Dr. Hassell has more than 43 years of teaching experience at the university level, the majority of which has been in computer science. She is qualified as an expert witness in the states of Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Missouri, and New York in the areas of e-Discovery, computer forensics, computer science, data recovery and technical communication.
