Survey Research Methods is the third installment of the three-part webinar series, Statistical Tools for Attorneys in Litigation. Part 1, “Introduction to Data,” and Part 2, “The Basic Tools,’ were presented on March 4 and May 8, respectively.

Part 3, “Survey Research Methods,” is composed of four phases: “Planning and Designing a Survey,” “Developing Survey Instruments,” “Collecting and Processing Data,” and “Interpreting and Reporting Results.” During this program, Planning and Designing a Survey, the presenter covered the first three (of 12) critically important steps:

  1. Initiating a Survey
  2. Planning a Project
  3. Constructing Questionnaires

About the Expert

Jack B. ReVelle, Ph.D., is a consulting statistician with a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University. Dr. ReVelle provides his technical assistance in both quality and industrial engineering to attorneys involved in litigation.
