About the Expert

Dr. Stephen Carr holds engineering degrees from Cal Berkeley and the University of Utah at Salt Lake. He created and managed a new product development company for 30 years and testified on product defect, patent infringement and other intellectual property issues during that time.

Today, he is an engineer with Technology Litigation Corporation, specializing in elevator and escalator accident investigation.

He serves on several of the committees that write the Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators.
