About the Expert

Jim Lynn is the principal of The Lynn Group, Inc. Jim was a Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer at Maryland National Bank (now part of Bank of America) specializing in small business lending for seven years. Jim is now a consultant to community financial institutions and has worked with more than 20 financial institutions across the country over the past 15 years. In addition, Jim is an expert witness on commercial and consumer lending issues. Jim has worked on complicated commercial credit cases, as well as cases involving the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Truth In Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act.
