About The Presenter:

Dennis M. Savard has been a practicing forensic criminologist for nearly a decade.  Dr. Savard has developed expertise in crime analysis, research on standards of care, and analyzing foreseeability issues involving security, law enforcement, and corrections. He has been involved in cases pertaining to premises liability, law enforcement, and corrections.  He has published academic peer reviewed articles and book chapters on jail suicide, workplace violence, crime at shopping centers, correctional counseling, security prevention measures, women as victims of crime, forensic criminology , and excited delirium.  He is president of Forensic Criminology Consultants and an assistant professor of criminal justice at Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan.
