The Yardstick of Success

Success is measured in many different ways. We just finished discussing lessons for success as mentioned in one specific article, but there are many different articles which address this topic because it is of such prevalent interest to so many. However, sometimes success is more than just applying specific business practices.

Your journey to success speaks volumes as to the kind of person that you are. How you treat people in your life, and how you deal with success can be a pointer as to what kind of success you will find in your life. This quote discusses this idea thoroughly:

"Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat people - your family, friends, and coworkers, and even strangers you meet along the way."

Always stay humble and never forget about the people that helped you to get to where you are. Everyone that you meet is a building block in your life, and should be valued as such.
